Michael Rotanelli is a candidate who is currently running in the City of Yonkers, Third Council District Race. He was born in Bronx, NY. Soon after, his family moved to Kimball Ave in Yonkers, NY and was happily raised in the City of Gracious Living. He proudly attended Yonkers Schools. Michael graduated from Lincoln High School and since graduation he has been passionately involved in the Yonkers Community. From an early age he worked hard to establish his imprint in Yonkers.
From the age of 18 he has been an innovator. He owned and operated a service station up until the time he opened his current business, Transit Towing. His immediate success was not enough. He was eager to give back to the city he loves. He accomplished this by approaching elected officials at a very young age, to begin a towing program. This program, now known as the impound towing program has been the model that Yonkers has used since Michael designed it. His originality has not stopped. He has always advocated for the small business owners of Yonkers because he understands business and building a prosperous future. He has networked with members of the community, helping, advising and mentoring other business owners. He mentored other prominent Towing Companies who have, since being an apprentice to him, gone on to establish their own companies. Though he taught them so well that they are now competitors, he maintains his business ethics and personal values to work with all competitors for the betterment of the Yonkers community.
His contributions to the City of Yonkers are lengthy and meaningful. He has worked tirelessly to improve our quality of life and future prospects. He continues to this day advising and helping the constituents in his own way. He is a constant supporter of Preventing Domestic Violence, Child Abuse, Breast Cancer and other philanthropies.
To meet Michael is to realize that he has the potential to get the job done. He plans on utilizing the 3rd Council District vote, not only to empower the 3rd District, but to also uplift Yonkers as a whole restoring its reputation to the city of gracious living. A time when families lived happily and graciously, as they worked and raised families safely and prosperously.
